Over the decades, Parramore became home to cultural icons and the backdrop for significant civil rights battles in Central Florida. Today, Parramore stands as the only Commercial National Registered Historic District in Orlando. In 2022, Parramore achieved the prestigious status of becoming the twelfth Orlando Main Street District, a platform created to empower business owners, property owners, and residents to shape a vibrant community that reflects their aspirations and vision.
